Operator Training

Various kinds of training are offered to all distributors, agents and customers, to ensure all users are familiar with our products’ installation and commissioning, operation and maintenance. Training also allows top engineers from DIY Power to gain more knowledge about our products and learn about our latest developments. Our training includes online video teaching, online remote communication, on-the-spot teaching and classroom teaching, etc. Senior technicians and engineers from DIY Power provide excellent training, all with a wealth of industry experience.

Locations: Training is offered at our distributor locations and at our factory facilities in Shanghai. Special on–site training at customer plants or offices can be arranged on request.

Duration: Each training course can last up to 15 days and is organized several times a year.

Subjects: The training courses cover basic knowledge of generator sets, engines, compressors and control system, installation guide, operation instruction, trouble-shooting, repair and maintenance etc.

Class Description:

Operation and Maintenance of Engine

Duration	3 days
Class Description	This class aims to help the trainee to become familiar with the four main systems of engine, as well as engine maintenance requirement. Also diagnosis of basic trouble and trouble-shooting is introduced in this class.
Means	Classroom teaching, on-the-spot teaching and remote video teaching
Requirement	Getting familiar with basic principles of diesel engine, diagnosis of basic trouble, maintenance process and all kinds of spare parts.

Operation and Maintenance of Generator Sets

Duration	One day
Class Description	This class aims to help the trainee to become familiar with all the major systems of compressor set and maintenance requirement. Also diagnosis of basic trouble and trouble-shooting is introduced in this class.
Means	Classroom teaching, on-the-spot teaching and remote video teaching
Requirement	Familiar with basic principles of diesel engine, diagnosis of basic trouble, maintenance process and all kinds of spare parts.

Maintenance of Starting Motor and Charging Generator

Duration	One day
Class Description	This class is designed to help the trainees to become familiar with the structure and working principle of the starting motor and charging generator. Through the training the trainee can disassemble and assemble the starting motor and charging generator, as well as test and maintain them.
Means	Classroom teaching, on-the-spot teaching and remote video teaching
Requirement	Mastery of basic electric knowledge.

Operation and Maintenance of Engine

Duration	Two days
Class Description	This class is designed to help the trainee to become familiar with the control system of generating set and usage of control software. Through the training the trainee can operate the control panel correctly, and is capable of diagnosis of trouble and trouble-shooting.
Means	Classroom teaching, on-the-spot teaching and remote video teaching
Requirement	Mastery of basic knowledge of diesel generating set, electric technique and experience, good skill of computer.

Class Description	Help the trainee to become familiar with the warranty policies and each item on the warranty card. This class aims to help trainees to use STR manual, and become familiar with the content of electronic spare part and learn to use it to acquire information needed.
Means	Classroom teaching, on-the-spot teaching and remote video teaching
Requirement	Familiar with basic principle of compressor set, diagnosis of trouble, trouble-shooting and various accessories and spare parts.
